Fiona Rathmann

In 2017 Fiona Rathmann finished her Master of Science in Nutrition and Biomedicine at the Technische Universität München, Germany. The main focus therein was to investigate the relationship between airway epithelial cells and alveolar macrophages, as well as the impact on the metabolic profile under different conditions. The experimental part took place at the Center of Allergy and Environment (ZAUM) with the analytical part being executed at the Helmholtz Zentrum München. Before starting a PhD, she visited the Wheelock lab in the summer of 2017 to gain experience in the quantification of eicosanoids.
